  1. ImageThe Emergency Infant CPR curriculum is a one-lesson curriculum containing three activities that take approximately 45 minutes to complete. It is designed to teach participants:

    • How to identify the steps in assessing the situation when medical help is needed in a life-threatening emergency situation.
    • How to call for emergency medical assistance when needed.
    • How to perform CPR on an unresponsive infant.

    The curriculum includes:

    • Step-by-step facilitation instructions
    • Activities to reinforce importance of following specific steps for obtaining emergency medical assistance and performing CPR
    • PowerPoint® slides
    • Pre-post quiz
    • Peer assessment sheet for participants to work with a partner or in a group of three and assess each other’s ability to perform the technique accurately
